Jerry Bickle Oldsmobile

This car was built in 1989 by Jerry Bickel. Tony Rose raced it and it was the first 6 second doorslammer in Europe.

The motor was built by Rob Lorring who was responsible for the day to day running and tuning of the car, the man behind the performance.

Graham who owns it now has a 706 CI Fulton motor but is intending to race in the new Super Modified Class. And as he said to me it's being destroked to 540CI because he can't afford the lead he would have to carry if it was 706 CI.

The engine will make over 1000 BHP without gas. The motor has been spec'd and built by Rob Lorring, who built the first six second et motor at his engine building company ICE Automotive Racing
engines.

Parts were all supplied by Nick Davies who runs the parts side of the
company Rooster Racing equipment. Nick is the previous owner of the car, In
Nick& Robs hands the car has run into the 6.6's at speeds approaching 210 MPH
